Roof/Rear Window Issue

The great thing when I bought my Eunos was that the roof looked pretty much brand new.

However, I've noticed that where the rear window is sewn in, some of the stitching is starting to come undone

Is this something I repair do myself with a needle and thread?

I've seen someone mention about gluing it, but not sure if that would work!

The rest of the roof is in fantastic condition, so I can't imagine I would need a new one, would I?

The Mazda rear screen is glued in, not stitched
