Fancy going on the 30th but worry the mx won't have the pace. Doesn't seem very challenging?

Mallory is far trickier to get right than it first seems and the MX will be fine round there cool

I agree with Steve H here. Mallory has a few 'hidden talents' in terms of being able to provide a serious driving challenge. Your MX-5 is ideal if it has decent brakes for the hairpin, and you can find your limits (and that of your tyres!) through Devil's Elbow, around Gerrards and through the Esses.

Whilst it may be one of the simpler layouts to learn, elevation changes can present quite a challenge to get things just right!

I'd be very interested to read how you get on, if you'd care to write a little report here afterwards.
Cheers.

I went to Mallory in October with a few mates and we took an MX-5. Unfortunately I'd forgotten my licence so was demoted to passenger but it was still an enjoyable day. Ours was one of the fastest cars there so you need have no worries on that score.

No trouble with an MX5 round Mallory, will embarrass more powerful machinery for sure.

Here is a video of an MX5 going round Mallory with Telemetry overlay. It is a race spec
car but all that entails are suspension mods and lightening, engine is stock. Keep an
eye on your front left tyres shoulder as that gets a lot of grief around Gerrards at
Mallory.
