Faulty Fuel gauge and computer range left

I love my 06 Range Rover Supercharged, but I have just run out of fuel with over 60 miles showing on the range and no orange light on the fuel gauge . This is the 5th time it has done this. When it was brand new it went back to be checked and they said they had sorted it! it has run out with 16 miles left showing but now it has over 60 miles range it is beyond a joke. Has anyone experienced the same problem ? I just want to be forearmed before I go back to the dealership. thx

Yes the exact same thing happened to my supercharged and my dealer replaced the tank sender under warranty and I've had no problems since
