Hi All,
I am looking at the above here in Switzerland. Seems sensible, with 4wd and all. But I am a little puzzled about the performance. On the official CH website and the brochure 0 - 100 km/t (0-62 mph) is nominated to 6.3 sek. I noticed on the German website, it is 5.6, which seems more in line with what I was expecting. I have not been to the dealer to clarify yet, but thought maybe the PH collective could cast some light.

Its been a few years since ive been around the evo scene so not too clued up on the evo x,but any previous evo producing 300bhp could do 60 in sub 5 sec so i wouldnt of thought the x is much different. It will certainly be in the 5 sec bracket if not lower.

Could it be the Swiss website is quoting for the SST version and the German website the regular manual? IIRC the SST is detuned (for less torque) to look after the gearbox.

Interesting and thanks for the help.

Both the German and Swiss website quotes where for the SST. It may be that the Swiss version is somehow detuned (although power figures do not suggest).

Think a trip to the dealer is on the card to work this out.

Find out whether the version sold in Germany and Switzerland are the same specification as the Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) versions.

Obviously the Euro models are left hand drive. In the UK, in all except one case, we get the right hand drive JDM model and have bits bolted on. However, in the past the European models have been detuned compared to the right hand drive JDM models that (most of) the UK models are based on.

Spec appear to be as UK model:

Nm: 366 @ 3500 rpm
HP: 295 KW: 217

So it does not look like it is a detuned version at least compared to UK model.
