Mobile tyre fitter

Any recommendations? Car in Bracknell today, wearing its spare.
Will need shredded type taken off the alloy.
Do prices comparable to a tyre shop? Looking to save myself a cold trip out this lunchtime.

Used them many times, for different cars. They will usually do a deal if you phone them

If it's off the car then just take it to Bracknell Tyres & Battery and leave it with them. Pick it up on the way home after work.

You might find that most of us locals used to make that recommendation, but due to the name and shame policy on here...

Really? What's happened to them? They used to be good!
I haven't actually used them myself for a while as I now work near Micheldever and know someone who works there and am also a member of a track car syndicate that is sponsored by Wheels-in-Motion/BlackBoots

IMHO : i'm not really sure. I think that they got bought by Micheldever tyres, who in turn got bought by someone (KwikFit?)
They seemed to have lost their appetite for good customer service at good prices. Happy to share the "real" issue via PM if you need.

I'll share a story about a tyre company.

I had a rather 'interesting' time on the way to the Nurburgring (having had new rear tyres fitted the day before). After some wheel wobble on the motorway which got progressively worse very quickly, i pulled in to a service station to check the car over.

The OSR wheel had been put back on correctly to the hub but the bolts seemingly just hand tightened - i could take them out with my fingers. Now they could have come loose in the 150 miles i'd done that day but i rather think that the lack of attention to detail meant I could have lost a wheel at circa 100mph (German autobahn).

I started using Blues and John R's recommendation above after that.

Interesting to hear, as I've always used Micheldever and never had a problem with them- always competitively priced and customer service is ok. They even seem to stock tyres for my Mini (165/70 R10- Fairly non standard size). Maybe I'm just lucky?
