Chaps

I'm considering one of Panasonic's new 3D displays to replace my ageing 5th Gen Pioneer.

As my hi fi equipment is all in the cupboard under the stairs and I only have the panel and speakers in the living room, I'll need a TV with a seperate Media Box to which to connect all my cables and have a single cable from that to the panel.

Does anyone know if thei is available on this model tv?

Thanks

Pete

The only Panasonic with a seperate media box is the Z1 and that isnt 3D.

Given that you'll need a 3D BD player, and if you have an existing A/V amp that'll have to change
to one of the HDMI V1.4 compatible Amps, there's your fix,use the Amp as it's intended and it acts as
a hub with a single cable from Amp to TV.

I have a PS3 which I currently use for BR and can be used a a 3D disc player. I'm not currently using the high def audio formats and muddling along with my old Yamaha RXV 465 with DTS and PLII which I find perfectly acceptable.

Although, I agree that upgrading the amp would be a fitting solution. Only problem is that's a hell of a lot of extra cost just for a single cable to the TV.
