finaly after 2 months of waiting my new Protech 2 way adjustable dampers arrived today , they are adjustable on both damp and rebound and i,ve chosen a stiffer spring to control the body roll , i,ve not gone as stiff as the M400 as these are too stiff for road use but the GT03/3r springs are a bit soft for track use . the nice thing about these shocks is they are made of alloy so no rust and the spring rate can be done to suit any style of driving .

will be interesting to see how they feel .

Look very nice, I'd like a set for my m400, funny you say that about it being too harsh, I find it perfect, it's softer than my TVR was anyway on the road and seems to be spot on around track, maybe a tad of bodyroll in the tight corners but I wont change spring rates if I do change shocks.

thought long and hard about spring rates and there is nothing stopping me getting a set of springs set to M400 levels ,just wanted to try something in the middle ,i have heard complaints of M400 understeering and thats something i did not want as i love the pointy feel of my car at the moment , also traction over bumpy surfaces can also be an issue on the M400 although i have no experience of this as i have never driven a M400 ,but i took some advice on this .I have had some understeer on track in tight corners but its very managable and the car is safe and predictable, ive since fitted the Reverie front splitter and front floor extensions to fill the gaps under the clam and it feels better on road, not tried track yet though, never had traction issues and running 480lbft of torque!
its always difficult to find the perfect setup between road and track !! i,ve no doubt the m400 is quicker on track but i do 4000 miles on road so a total track setup was never a option , the nice thing about fully adjustable dampers is in theory i should be able to stiffen then up when needed ,i have also been advised to try and control the car better with damping rates rather than spring rates ,guess i will have to wait and see :-)
They look major sexy,
Looking forward to getting on a track next year and seeing em in action.
You make me feel guilty Simon for not getting stuck into the jobs I have planned.
Let's get Xmas out the way and I better start getting the spanners out
although your gonna show us all up next year with all the new shiny bits and sparkle.

Hoyin , yes I can get them done in STD spring rates , price is not confirmed yet as I have a couple of things to sort but they are going to be around £200 each +vat . I will also be suppling a stainless fitting kit as well . Tux
Top work my man, that sounds like a good price under 1K all in. will there be any possible discount for a group buy?Hoyin , yes I can get them done in STD spring rates , price is not confirmed yet as I have a couple of things to sort but they are going to be around £200 each +vat . All I will then need to do is get Steve to do my front uprights and somehow get you to supply a kit for that rear mod you did

Your arrival and a few other of late has completly changed this forum, these cars are just getting better and better. Good work fella's.

Hi Bondy ,all bits coming together nicely :-) although when i first joined the forum i was told i was using sub standard parts and devaluing the brand !!!!! guessing some on the forum are not my biggest fan :-)
don,t know about group buy depends how much interest but to be honest i think people will want specific spring rates ect which could make things interesting . i also would like to fit a couple of sets just to make sure there are no issues . have yet to work out the finer details !!!
going to get mine all fitted over the christmas period then get it corner weighted ect and setup will post up final details as soon as i have them .Tux

Been working on damper fitment tonite , the Noble is a bit unusual as it uses different bolt sizes top too bottom with the bottom bolt being 1/2 " UNF !!!! Which is odd , also want to design some spacers that spread the load abit on the chasis , should gave some bits from machine shop next week !!
