Electric Car Pump
Discussion
Chaps and Chapettes
I'm looking for an electric car pump, for erm...my car, unsurprisingly.
Any recommendations?
Nothing to flash or pricey, just one that I can plug into the cigarette lighter attach to the wheel and a few mins later I have a nice round tyre. Something with a gauge would be nice. If It came with an attachment to pump road bike tyres that would also be good.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Just type 12v compressor into google shopping and marvel at all the cheap plasticy goodness. The only ones that stand out as any good are the ones geared towards use with 4x4s, and probably cost close to £100. If you're not in a hurry and only using it occasionally I should think £25 will get you something adequate. Regards bicycle tyres, most modern bikes apart from racers and tourers use the same schrader valves as cars so no need for any adapters.
Can recommend these:

Got one bolted into the back of the trials car for blowing tyres back up to road pressures, from down as low as 2psi, between trials sections. Several years old and working fine.
