Well, first stab at photos, I hope this works!

This is to follow on from my post on the general TVR forum over the weekend regarding reconditioned alloys - I am most chuffed with the results!

Looks good Jonnie.

Calipers look good too. The hardest part is the white lettering isn't it.

I used a really fine brush - personally, I thought the trickiest part was getting 'round the back' - high as a kite on hammerite !!

Oh yes, and scraping off the small bits of overpaint on the bolt heads with a tiny screw driver... my knees are already shot to pieces!

Seriously though, Kojak, thanks for your top tips the other week, I couldn't have done it otherwise

Looks really good against the green. Have you gone for the gold badges as well?

Anyone tried gold wheels on a rosso pearl car? If so can you post a pic.

Me thinks I want some gold wheels and red callipers on mine

S.

PS - do gold badges on a tiv mean anything in particular?

Yes, the best cars have Gold badges......

Actually, it's a no cost option from the factory when you order the car - just personal choice

The gold badges, along with blue paint work (specifically imperial blue) combine to produce a faster car. This is a known fact.

Not too sure about the gold wheels - a bit "rally special"?

No snags, seth, I am chuffed you like 'em as much as I do!!

Just thought they would go well with the green (gold badges on order...) and I have never seen another with the same spec. Why be confused with all those oh so common blue ones!

Right, head down behind the parapet and wait for the 'blue' banter to start again !!!

And there I was trying to be nice and helpful and what do I get?

Abused by someone who clearly doesn't read the Sunday Times!

Graham - Religious reader every week - - although it's gettin' expensive for 2 Clarkson articles!

But back to my (or was that your?)point - when was the last time anyone trusted the word of Jason "poppin' fresh" Dawe, second hand car salesman and occasional TV pundit?

Have you seen his idea of a tasteful shirt?
