135i's starting to become affordable!
Discussion
Been on the look out for a while when one popped up at a nearby bmw garage, may 2008, 15k 1 owner, leather etc, up for £18995, managed to bag it for 17.5k due to holidays approaching and no trade in!
It's an under the radar performance bargain in my books at this sort of money and a fine replacement for my trusty golf gti.
Already ordered a 116i badge!

Hiya
Good luck with the car if you go for one! they really are understated and lesser well known pocket rockets
To a vast proportion of the UK population, £19 grand on a car is very unaffordable!
Get the car, add some discreet performance and styling options and you'd have a fantastic car .. for those in the know !
Cheers, Dennis!

Deal done, picking her up on monday depending on the snow! Dealer agreed to de-badge it but wouldn't stick the 116i badge on for me, but agreed to throw it in and I could fit it at home
. A 116i was never available in coupe form so some people will catch on, which is half the fun!
Will post up in readers cars next week!

Don't put the 116i badge on that's just silly.

Some geeks like me will notice the twin exhausts and all chrome front grill which gives it away as a 6 cylinder.

116i would be incorrect wouldn't it (don't they start at 120i in petrol & 118d in the Devil's fuel)? Personally I'd be quite happy with a 120i badge on the rump of a 135 - a bit of a giggle at the end of the day

Still like these, only problems are how it looks from the front and the fact the 335i exists.
think i prefer the 135i over the 335i though, i know weight/size isn't much different, just prefer the quirky looks and the fact it's more understated too. take the badge off and no-one will have a clue. a 335i has bigger exhausts, 1 each side so a bit more of a give away. the 3er is far more common too, the only 3er shape i'd ever consider is an M3, which looks far better and is a very, very sharp drive. i've spent a few thousand miles in one
cracking cars but i'd still love to try a 135i.Gassing Station | BMW General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
