New Hood in Sussex/Surrey

My hood is starting to look a bit tired so I'm looking for somebody local to fit a new one. Has anyone had one fitted in Sussex/Surrey, who by? were you pleased with it? how much did it cost? Did they replace the seals too?

I have seen several Griffs/Chims where they have completely retrimmed the hoods as well as just renewing the rear screens & not heard of any issues.

As an alternative you could try Rawles at Froyle, near Alton, Hants. 01420 23212.
They are actually Healy specialists but provide a trimming service for TVR's. I understand that Fernies use them. All the info is on their website www.rawlesmotorsport.co.uk

Hi Bodders, sorry, would have asked but I didn't realise you were familiar with the TVR marque, not having seen you in one for as long as I can remember

I've already spoken to Oxted Trimming, they're not exactly the cheapest but I'd rather pay for a good job than waste money on a bad one. Thought I'd put out some feelers first though as it's not going to happen until next year.

I've a dropped door that needs attending to first, any suggestions on who might give me a good price on that?

Sorry, you'll have to have at least two TVR's....like me...before you can get to my level of TVRness .....come round and I might even let you sit in them

Slightly off post although still related...I got the roof refabricated but didn't get the fabric round the rear window done and the colour of the roof is actually lighter than the older fabric of the rear?? I would have thought the opposite would have been the case.
