Hello

I am looking for the Ford specifications for the tyres that should be fitted to a 2006 and 2007 Mondeo (we have 2 cars).

I know the size: 205/55 R16

However I do not know Fords required load rating and I need to make sure we are compliant with our insurance.

The original tyres have long since been replaced.

I've tried contacting Ford about this but it's very difficult to obtain this information from them.

Thanks

Mine (1.8 petrol 2005) came with 205/55R16 91V Hankook Ventus Prime from the factory.

The diesels at work (2.0TDCI 2005) are running 205/55R16 94V - they're mostly on Goodyear Excellence, I've no idea if 94 is required or just what they happened to fit.

I think a load rating of 91 is sufficient, but I no longer have my Mk3 to be able to check the book.

V is correct, for summer tyres.
