Arrackniditus-SPELLING!? Help needed PLEASE!

Ladies and gents,

I'm just filling out a job application and i'm mentioning a disease called, Arrackniditus (well, that's how it's said!). It's basically a disease where a web is formed around your spinal cord, and causes st loads of pain. Only thing is, I can't find the correct spelling! I've googled loads of different ways but to no avail

Anyone able to shed some light ASAP!?
