My mate was just down the street from this when it happened - seen the whole thing frown

Wonder if it was a weather related incident or just some idiot behind the wheel...

Either way, my thoughts are with their families frown
Way too young to go.

I think the DJ from the Bay Horse was the driver and I think health issues were involved in the cause.

News report said driver was in his 50's, you sure about the DJ thing? Do you get 50yr old DJ's?

Very sad for the two girls, and their families. Terrible thing to happen, somehow feels even worse at this time of year. Just hope they went quickly and didn't feel much pain.

scz4, the girls were not in the car, they were on the pavement.
I have kids that age and it sends shivers down my spine to think about it. God only knows what it is like to go throught it, my heart goes out to the familys involved.

source? not having a go at you but there seems to be a lack of facts as yet surrounding the cause of this tragic event so the press as per usual are filling in the gaps with 'I think', 'possibly', 'maybe' and 'what ifs', speculation and rumour spreading doesn't help anyone.

I seen the range rover up the verge after the incident after I left college. Couldnt work out how it had happened.
