Right Bill Gates and his bunch of American fcensoredk monkeys have suspended my gold account, okay this is my bad my mum cancelled the card that Live was being paid through. So I select my card to be charged all is fine for a bit, until today completely locked out.

Went on their fcensoredking scensoredt forum help thing and it says that my mum's old card has £39.99 credit? Does this mean they want that much from that account? Everytime I go on the Xbox I select my card and I have enough in the bank to pay the thieving yank scum. Also I'm down £40 in my account so I thought it'd gone through?

Anyone been in a similar situation? Should I just ring up and tell them if they don't sort itout I'm bying a PS3?

Fcensoredking Ccensoredts

TIA George

P.S. I can't seem to find the phone number I need to tell them to sort it out, anyone have it?

i had this problem a few months ago, it kept trying to charge my old (expired) card even though i'd updated with my new card details and kept selecting that card to pay.. it kept failing and eventually locked me out completely (after a month or so of letting me play online for free).
in the end i had to go to xbox.com, remove both my credit card details and re-add my new card details.

my xbox account > manage payment options.

once id done that it auto unlocked my account.

If you are paying full whack for it, why not buy a card and put the code in, or do it on Xbox.com.

Thieving scum because Xbox Live and the downloads etc cost a fortune and till don't have great service.

Finished school, at uni life has got worse money wise. Can't wait to finish and get a proper job and steady income.

Cheers for the info everyone else smile

Why doesn't anyone take any notice when people keep saying not to give their card details to Microsoft. It only causes problems especially when cards expire.
Cancel all card details and just buy a card online or from a shop and enter the code.
It will be cheaper and you will avoid all these problems again when this card expires too.
You have been warned.

I have gone out and got Live from Game, I've managed to delete one of the cards on my account but not the other as it says "An outstanding balance exists on this payment instrument. Please try again later" well they cut me off so I don't owe them anything?

Anyone have the number for Billing etc rather than repairs?

Don't use your card - Go on ebay and buy a 12 month voucher for £28 or however much they cost; then you don't have to worry about card issues and you save yourself money. Do the same for the MS points too.
