Rattling Baffles / Exhaust Mod
Discussion
Toying with the idea of having the silencer modified on my Chim.
The main reason for this (besides the noise)is that the baffles are rattling at idle & it really is starting to p*ss me off.
The question is how can the baffles rattle when the box essentially consists of peforated thu pipes and a load of cladding??
Are there baffles in the tale pipes?
If I gently tap the tail pipes, I hear the rattling around the centre section of the exhaust (i.e. silencer). Would hate to get the mod done only to still have the rattle.
Pls help!
Cheers,
Nick

Well, the emptied box would sound more boomy at about 3k revs which got irritating (it did for mine). With the 'normal' pipes replacing the perforated pipes it sounds more in yer face without the boominess. (I'm sure I've said this before
)
As for the last option I don't know, but it should still sound the same as replacing the perforated pipes.
