I'm thinking of buying one of these experiences for my 12 year old son for Xmas, as he's been asking when he can drive since he was 2 years old.
I know he would love it, but as it's not something he can do on Xmas day, I'd hate for him to build up the excitement and then be disappointed if it doesn't match his expectation.
Has anyone any experience of this, or feedback on the value for money etc? I will obviously have to explain he won't be taking Druids flat out!

i did this when i was 12 (10 years ago), so may be very different to now but i loved it. there was 3 of us in the car + the instructor. spent the first half of the day on the grand prix circuit out the back getting used to clutch control and just driving around. then the rest of the day driving around the paddock. was a good laugh. I spent ages looking forward to it and loved it.
but i did it when brands was owned by octagon its now owned by MSV so could be very different.

Its still exactly like that mate of mine is one of the instructors, both my kids did it and the older passed his test after 6 lessons as he had mastered the mechanical aspectsof driving doing this ! the younger is 17 next year!
