Looking for a kitten in Ashtead area
Discussion
I've searched on the web all night, either sold, no ones responding or only sell as pairs, done all the papers, Friday add etc
I will look at RSPCA and shelters tommorow, but I need one no older than 3 months old,
Will spend up to 100 if needed, but spent enough with Christmas etc.
Thanks
Alex

Out of interest, why a single kitten and why no older than 3 months?
Our first 2 cats were both adults and rescued from certain death as their old owners died and nobody else wanted to take 8 year old cats. The were both lovely cats and very well house trained. One only lived another 4 years but the other lived until she was 18 so had a good 10 years with us. We wouldn't have chosen kittens but they needed a home just a couple of months after our last cat died, otherwise we'd have gone for another older cat from a rescue centre.

Its not for me its for the missus,
She had 2 cats and about 4 months ago one died 14 years old I believe?
And the other cats not been the same since, meowing all night and scared of people, so id rather a kitten so he would not be afraid, as I think he might be with a fully grown cat,
She would like another cat, so i thought this is as good as time as any
The snow is probably going to stop me going any where today, as there's no chance the Chim's coming out
If you know any local shelters could you write name and adress on here please
Thanks

I don't think so mate... My 7 is red if that helps? The subaru is on snow tyres but parked up in Epsom (train home after a few drinkies... Hic). So that's no bloody good!
Ah it was a yellow one,If you need a lift to the car let me know, I got my friends 4x4 golf 4 motion, don't like doing long distances in it as the tracking is out, but Epsom is no problem
And I literally have nothing on today, in fact I could do with getting out the house
PM me if you need help

As Lazza said, an older cat might be better(we have had 9 rescue cats over 20 years, from 6 months to 10 years old when we got them) depending on the age of you other cat. A kitten can be too playful and end up annoying the older one.
Take her to a rescue centre & you'll come away with one thats 'the one' regardless of age breed etc.
Have alook here http://www.catchat.org/topcats/topcats.html, plenty of rescue centres on their.
P.S. you might find that reputable breeders & rescue centres won't let you have a kitten this close to Xmas to discourage them being given as presents only to be discarded a few weeks later after the novelty has worn off.

Im not getting any where!
There either all sold, only sell as pairs or no ones getting back to me.
Been to rspca's near by, Chobham one didn't have any thing suitable which is fair enough.
But Godstone, where I went today, were very rude! I rung them before I left they said come down no problem, so I did, got stuck in 4 hours of traffic, finally got there and they said cattery locked up,
this was at 3:30 and they promised me 4:00 on the phone, said they were to busy to unlock one door, and they just didn't want to know, even though I live in a place puuurfect for at least 5 more cats if I wished, they just didn't seem interested in re-homing.
So the hunt is still on, with a increased budget.
