I bought one about 4 years ago, its still going (will tell you the name once the daughter is out of the shower.....it may be a long wait!)
we did have the advantage of having mains water pressure in the bathroom which helps and I must admit, when the cold water is this cold, (like today) even at max it is only just hot enough for a decent hot shower. Other times of the year it is fine though. I guess a decent head of hot water is also nessesary.
I figured on buying a spare for when this one finally packs up and tried a year or so ago without success... I guess the company has gone bust which is a shame.

I think that a venturi shower is what you're after. HTH

Aquadart started it with the Hydroflo. They were taken over, but it's not made currently. The Trevi-boost is the only one I know of that's currently in production.

OK just turfed daughter out into the cold landing to take a look, it was produced by Croydex group plc and called a h20 hydro power shower. Very small and compact unit, just wished I bought a few spares at the time.
