All tucked up in bed here after a 19 hour journey down to Charles Dunn yesterday.
Great thankyou to Charles for re-opening the workshop at midnight, even though I was supposed to be there lunch time before.
I was stuck on the M40 and for 9 hours covered only 1/4 mile... good old high ways agency felt they did not need to grit/plough the motorways even though thousands stranded... alot ran out of fuel just to keep themselves warm...real shambles and bloody freezing..
I know how cold it was as engine ran for 9 hours on tick over and only max'd out at 70 degrees all that time...good old diesels!!!!
Keep warm Kyle... It will be worth it..

What are you guys complaining about. Yesterday it only got up to 18 degrees c here and at 6pm I was driving out to dinner and the car said 12. And it's meant to be summer this side of the world and it won't stop raining.
Well at least you wont have a load of bush fires on the news...Rains here every summer too.....

We have our problems too.
One of my daughter has been stung by a bee !!!
-14 here but thats a normal Canadian winter...
Seems you lot in Blighty might have to start fitting block heaters to your cars and plug them in over night
like we do. But must admit very dry climate here only need to plug them in if below -20.... Can imagine UK would be anything below -10 if parked outside.
Oh did I say my Workshop is 19+ you just got to love In-Slab heating

Now just remember to start up your truck 15mins before you leave with the remote start control, and dont forget to turn on the heated seats either..... Then time to go drifting with my 2.5 tons of 4WD.....yeeehaaa
yes I'm turning into a Red Neck....

You haven't made it to "Redneck" status yet Clive...... First, you only have 1 4WD on your driveway unless you have visitors and there is no gunrake in the back window of said 4WD. Secondly, You still have no gaps in your smile and you don't wear a John Deere ball cap. (That I know about).
