I'm anticipating a big push on my Vixen restoration over Xmas. For reasons not obvious to me, the bonnet releases on my car are 3000M items. Unfortunately the bonnet that came with the car (as a box of bits) doesn't have the the mating part (presumably a sprung pin?).
Can anyone advise the source of these pins? Whilst I understand that the catch was TVR's own, I can't believe they crafted something unique for the pins.
Any suggestions? I'm guessing Triumph, but whenever this seems to be suggested, someone pops up and says its TVR unique (Hopefully not, this time!)
On a smilar note, what are the courtesy lights and door switches from?

VIXEN BONNET CATCH WAS FROM FORD ANGLIA, BOTH MALE & FEMALE. THE ANGLIA USED A SINGLE CATCH ONLY, TO SECURE THE BONNET.
M SERIES CARS USED HILLMAN IMP CATCHES, (I DID NOT REALISE THIS TILL I RE-BUILT A CLAN CRUSADER)
I WOULD PHONE JOHN BLYTHE AT GOLDENDAYS ON 01603 881155 & PURCHASE 2 ANGLIA CATCHES. DO THE JOB CORRECTLY

Is this the Anglia 105E, unmodified?

Mine will need two new ones

YES, 105E - ANGLIA WITH SLOPING BACK (FROST FREE) REAR SCREEN.
THOUGH THERE DO SEEM TO BE 2 TYPES OF THE FEMALE PART.
(BIT WHICH ATTACHES TO BULKHEAD WITH 3 off 1/4"UNF BOLTS)
SOME HAVE A WASHER LIKE RING, WHICH LINES THE MALE PART UP AS THE 2 MEET.
THOSE WITHOUT, CAN BE MODIFIED WITH A SUITABLE WASHER

Thanks Duely noted.

I don't suppose that I will be that far forward for some time yet though.
