Upgrading speakers in 2004 mini cooper convertable

Hello

I am upgrading speakers in my new mini :-)


I have read that the fronts are 5.25" and rears 6.5" - hardtop minis are 6x9 but not convertable, that right?

Will these fit straight in without any messing around?

I have ordered some spacer things for the front door pods, do i need any for the rears?

I already ahve a sony 600w amp to power them, a kenwood blutooth head unit and pioneer active sub - cant wait to get it all in now :-)
