Tuscan 2 glass style lights on a mk1?
Discussion
i tried to reproduce mk2 lenses a couple of years ago, couldn't get the acrylic at the right temp, and was hard to form with the originals being bent in 2 dimensions.
Tried a few but just basic not temp controlled and just formed over originals.
If there were to be A conversion lens for the "Tuscan" lights it would need mods to step the wing / lens contact mounting surface inward to allow for the thickness of acrylic lens and enable the lens to b flush with the wing on the outside of the lens. Bit of a chew on but aero dynamic and cosmetic benefits to b gained. then the indicator lenses would really need lensing.
some rich Russian kid spent his pocket money to evolved this and lots more for us (where Tvr under british command deserted us in the 90s) in a wind tunnel i believe, but all he gets is criticised and slagged by the majority.
No wonder this special brand is crawling over broken glass on its knees
