After 5 mostly happy years with the mr2 I decided I deserved something a little more modern, well 20 years more modern to be precise. biggrin

She's a 2006 2.0i Sport with 26,000 miles. Only current plan is to fit the -35mm Eibach springs to sort 4x4 look, that'll have to wait until the new year though.

Got her on Friday only for it to snow 9 inches whilst I was spending the weekend at my parents. Have had to leave her behind and borrow my sisters smart for a week. cry

To quote an old BBC comedy: "Very nice, very tasteful. I'd love a bit of that."

That's the soft top, not the convertible hard top correct? Lovely car, colour isn't my cup of tea though.

Yeah, that's a conventional hardtop rather than a folding metal job. Guess colors personal but I prefer it to the hundreds of silver and grey ones also for sale.

Good stuff - I trust you'll get the alignment sorted as well as popping the Eibachs on? I'm also sure you've done your research so if you're getting this done by a main dealer then make sure they don't twist the bushes (if they do an alignment session will sort it out anyway) Also - if that was ought from a main dealer...check the tyre pressures as for some reason they tend to massively over-inflate them.

PS: What is the colour? Doesn't look like Winning Blue in the pics but I'm not au-fait enough with the MX5 palette otherwise (Anyway Highland Green ones are clearly superior! tongue out)

After reading a few bits on here and other forums I was considering taking her to Wheels-in-Motion to have the suspension work done. But having over spent that has to wait.

Um.. not that sure on the colours myself. The advert just stated 'Metalic Blue' I got Winning Blue from here.

Tyre pressuress will be check once the snow has melted form around them.

Wheels in motion are an excellent outfit and the difference they can make to the handling is night and day. It probably is Winning Blue it's just the pics don't quite show it (I love that colour but am very pleased with the Highland Green I have to say)

Colour choice was limited at my budget, I'm just happy I found one that wasn't Silver.

Just looked at the picture in your profile, the green is great and the stance on the lower springs is spot on.

Just make sure not to get any water on it or feed it after midnight.
