E250 wheelspiniing - all systems started shuting down

sat there in the snow making slow progress up an incline, steady throttle, manual gearbox mode, esp turned off,

then the dash warns esp and abs deactivated !!, then tyre pressure warning deactivated !! and then the bumper sensor things ontop of the dash turn red - normally 2 little amber things, and a loud buzzer sounds.

car not too happy with a a bit of diff action and going sideways for sooooooo long ??

I pulled over and turned the engine off and on again, and all the warnings reappeared and the little red lights glowed and the buzzer sounded when i engaged gear

anyone experienced similar ??

In a milder form yes, just the 2 red parking sensor lights on the dash for me, no idea why but they went away of their own accord after 20 seconds or so.

Snow buildup has caused parking sensor issues for me.

But normally when parking sensors are covered/obscured all lights light up, i.e. two reds and all ambers, sounds like the OP experienced what I did which is the pair of red lights on their own which is odd.

It's a sensor issue fairly cheap to sort, will try and dig out a link tommorrow if I remember

Car was having a fit when I drove to work this morning - all the warnings, lights and buzzers. I guess I found the secret AMG setting

Went out this afternoon and everthing has returned to normal. Stability and traction and ABS all Ok and no warnings or lights alit.

thinking on ....... this may have co incided with all the snow that was in the wheel arches now melted ? and the sensor is now unobstructed ?
