I haven't done that sort of driving for a while! It makes me want to take my mates old farm hack skoda estelle out! You are right though roof down should be all year round. I am chicken and tuck the convertible up in winter as the country roads round my way are never gritted and are best avoided in snow. MX5 for next winter maybe?
