Purely hypothetical this one whistle

So for once you found yourself in the right place at the right time and captured an image that's unique and seasonally appropriate. Any thoughts on quick ways to make it work - direct approach to the press or through an agency (and if so, any suggestions?)

TIA

I'd go agency - they would (should) at least have an idea of its worth, and be able to make sure you get a good deal - its in their interest to get you a good deal after all. See if you can find any decent advice in relevant forums before you approach them though....

I cant help but think that the press would snap it up for as little as they can get it for, and then resell if you don't have licensing in order. If its really unique, maybe you could invoke a bidding war though... just in time for xmas smile

Trouble with agencies on this occasion was getting it done in time. I've offered it direct on a single use, non-exclusive basis and we'll know in the morning whether that was sensible.

I'd nip to Tesco now and stock up on lube if I were you, they like to go in dry.
