I’m posting on here rather the Longue to avoid a tirade of abuse. I know it’s rather a “ghey” question but I’ve reached that age where I’m starting to get wrinkles on my face and to honest I don’t like it. I was thinking of getting a face moisturiser to make me feel young again.

Any recommendations, or am I just kidding myself??

Nowt gay about wanting to look good for the ladies, the boots No7 protect and perfect comes highly regarded, I use clarins myself, depends on type of skin really, go to a decent department store and speak to the nice ladies.

Just accept it, like going bald or grey tongue out

I do moisturise, but thats due to dry skin more than age.

Yes, nothing gay about banging hot chicks.

The ones on PH who say it's gay are usually the beardy types who haven't had an clunge for 10 years.

I quite like the idea of wrinkles, I'm far away from that point yet mind, but as a result I don't moisturise my hands or face. I do however lightly moisturise the other bits after shaving, once a week or so, but this is partly due to the fact that I use a straight razor for everything, so occasionally have to put up with some irritation if I don't have the time to get it done carefully.
And yes, cuts do occur wink, but not really worse than with any other razor

I moisturise my head and face after shaving (I have a totally shaved head!)

If I don't, my head goes really dry and flakey.

yes There's nothing gay about moisturising, just as there's nothing manly about having bad skin! It really helps if you shave regularly.

I'm not sure it'd help with wrinkles though to be honest, but console yourself that most women like a man to look more mature. I've looked young for my age for most of my life and women didn't take an interest in me at all until I got into my 30s! Once I go grey and wrinkly I'll be fighting em off! hehe

I use the Nivea for men shaving stuff and moisturiser and would recommend it. Everyone's skin's different though, so just experiment.

I've always moisturised after showering as otherwise my skin gets really dry. It has never made me want to anally penetrate another man, funnily enough.

I've used Clinique, Clarins, and lots of other stuff but Nivea seems to offer the best balance of quality and price. Have a look at that Q10 stuff, might be good for wrinkles. I wouldn't worry to much though.

  • Takes note of all those that moisturise* wink
Seriously, I have dry skin and have to moisturise, always have had to.
Go for stuff that works, not the brands that spend all your money on telling you it works.

I do, I use the Simple Hydration stuff - does the job for me.

Now, for another can of worms, who also exfoliates? biggrin
