False ceiling insulation.
Discussion
My OH's premises are in a former small car showroom (or similar type building) and has been converted into a normal collection of offices etc.
Unfortunatley due to having a false ceiling throughout with no insulation above it is bloody freezing at the moment, running the heating is an almost futile exercise.
What options are there for insulating the roof space? I'd love it if it was case of toddling on down to B&Q, buying as many rolls as I could squeeze into the MX-5 and simply laying it on top of the tiles. I'm guessing it isn't that simple?

Another vote for it being almost that simple.

Is the bagged stuff. You can lay the normal loft insulation, but it's nasty stuff to work with, difficult to lay across the tiles, and you need to be careful around any downlighters / light fittings.
Also if the unbagged stuff gets wet, it'll get heavy and bring down a section of ceiling. The bagged stuff tends to allow any water leaks to run down and stain the tile, giving you a warning.

Loose loft insulation only £3 a roll if you buy under this scheme, not that I would condone you using a domestic based promotion for commercial premises
