I am thinking of starting to give my 05 ST the euro look. Starting off with downsizing the regular 17's to a sixe 13" rim. Possibly the RS 4 spokes from a MK1 Escort. I know this is a longshot however i like to think it will look different and really set the car off. Providing this will not involve too much work and problems with the motor.

For the more technical minded of you can you throw out any technical and mechanical issues this may present?

For now i am considering spacers and lowering the car to fill the huge gap, then there is the issue of the rolling circumference and knocking out the speedo ( i think? )

Is this so far fetched? Please let me know what you think?

Apart from anything else, how big are your disc/calipers?

Your mk1 RS wheels will also have rwd offset.

IF and it's a big if the brakes don't get in the way you can use the same style wheels from a mk1 fiesta supersport to get your fwd offset.

I think it would look st anyway but it's your car, your choice.

280mm brakes on the front (I have ST brakes on my zetec s) You will be lucky to get 14's over them to be honest.
