I've just received my renewal quote for my Gallardo and it's a whopping £1,902 which is over a grand up from last year eek

During that year I've had no claims, so am at a loss to explain the increase.

I've got 5 cars but can only drive one at a time, so i guess some sort of limited miles shared policy is best ?

Can anyone recommend an insurance company/broker ?

Insurance the gift that keeps giving !

Seems to be a common theme right now, I know loads of people who are finding insurance on exotics going through the roof this year.

Tell me about it! mines due today on my G Spider and renewal is £1401 up from £688 last year with no claims etc, best renewal I have found is Admiral at £601 on a like for like quote.
I asked my existing insurer why it had gone up and he said there had been a 20-25% hike in supercar insurance premiums !!!

Dan,
This seems to be a common occurance now - bloody insurance!!
Speak with Ben Stagg 07943822440 at MWA insurance, I can certainly recommend him and he specialises in mulitple car policies... Say that Adam from Supercardriver sent you.

I used to have my 3 insured under one policy with Aon collectors' policy - try 0844 826 4514. The Aon policy includes 5 UK trackdays - something like £10k max payout on excess of £1000.

Now I have them insured separately & the Ferrari is with Ben Stagg at MWA - see above.

Hi matey
Just renewed mine, last year paid £520 with aplan ,they wanted £787 this year.
My mrs got a quote for me from Aviva when sorting her car insurance out.
Clean licence,5 yrs ncb,old.
04 Gallardo ,fully comp, 60k value,ncb protection,w/screen,lost keys cover.
All that for £396.
Got the paper work and no slap around the face.
If you get any probs maybe i could get the mrs to phone them. biggrin
cheers Dave T.

I guess i get dirty garage quote then, as Aviva just quoted me £594. However thats still a massive £1,300 less than my renewal quote from my current provider.

Best not tell the wife or else she'll expect a bigger Xmas present with all the money i've just "saved" laugh

My Diablo seemed to stay about the same as last year (renewed in mid October) - £409.20 premium + £25 legal expenses + £11 broker fee = £445.20. This is fully comp with £500 excess, and limited mileage of 7000 using Performance Direct.
