Evening all!

You guys have steered me in the right direction previously with cleaning equipment, so I'm hoping you can help me again smile

For the last couple of years, I've performed a "wheels-off" clean of my Mercedes. I've hand-washed the arches using one of my old string "bug" sponges, once used to clean the car until they became a little tatty!
I've used normal car shampoo, pressure washing the arches before and after.

I've seen on detailing websites the use of wheel arch brushes and cleaning fluids is wide spread. So can anyone please recommend me some decent products, and where I can purchase such products?

I think it also mught be worth mentioning that the underside of my car been waxoyl'ed, as I don't wish this protection to be removed smile

Many thanks in advance.

Darren

Darren,

What are you looking for a cleaner for the arches or a dressing?

Knowing your cleaning regime, I would guess that a good qualtiy APC and dedicated brush would be all thats needed on the car.

Let me know what you have in your arsenal (steady) and we can go from there....

Many thanks for these couple of replies smile

Kev:
I don't own any AP cleaners, just the car shampoo, which I've used in the past with an old (now wheel arch dedicated) string sponge.

As far as brushes go, I only own a couple of wheel brushes.

I have to admit, that for this year, I'm now not cleaning the arches myself paperbag
However, I'll certainly be doing them in the future smile
