Wheel arch cleaning
Discussion
Evening all!
You guys have steered me in the right direction previously with cleaning equipment, so I'm hoping you can help me again
For the last couple of years, I've performed a "wheels-off" clean of my Mercedes. I've hand-washed the arches using one of my old string "bug" sponges, once used to clean the car until they became a little tatty!
I've used normal car shampoo, pressure washing the arches before and after.
I've seen on detailing websites the use of wheel arch brushes and cleaning fluids is wide spread. So can anyone please recommend me some decent products, and where I can purchase such products?
I think it also mught be worth mentioning that the underside of my car been waxoyl'ed, as I don't wish this protection to be removed
Many thanks in advance.
Darren

Many thanks for these couple of replies
Kev:
I don't own any AP cleaners, just the car shampoo, which I've used in the past with an old (now wheel arch dedicated) string sponge.
As far as brushes go, I only own a couple of wheel brushes.
I have to admit, that for this year, I'm now not cleaning the arches myself
However, I'll certainly be doing them in the future
