i just changed the battery on my car.And it was turning over and went to start.Then a buzzing spinning sound started and it has stoped turning over.What could this be?? Thanks lee.

It fired once, knocked the starter pinion out of engagement, but didn't actually catch?

yeah it went to fire then as it fired it cut out
