That refers to Chronic Whiplash though which is much more debatable than short-term whiplash (lasting say a fortnight to a month). In other words people in Lithuania probably get the same whiplash as people in other countries but they don't then go on to pretend that it's permanently disabling them, unlike some people in other countries.

Put simply people in Lithuania post accident seek to get their car sorted and accept that an accident is an accident and having a stiff neck for a few days is just one of those things and get on with life, instead of putting in stupid claims for loss of earnings etc.

£1500 "bonus" from having a crash, and sitting infront of a GP saying "ouch" at the right time, is becoming the accepted norm these days.

I'd love to see a breakdown of whiplash incidents vs. ethnic group, given the propensity of certain types to 'embellish' insurance claims and statistics. If you are into crashing for cash, you'll do all you can to ensure as big a payout as possible. Oli.
In my time on the roads I have had 4 people stove the back of the car in in various circumstances. On one occasion I suffered mild pain at the time and some discomfort for the next 3 or 4 months (got £1000 in compensation), the other times including been written off by a lorry I haven’t suffered pain and therefore haven’t claimed.
Never quite understood how people get away with this.
In my yoof, I used to do banger racing so once a week, you'd have 3 races and a destruction derby which meant pretty much continuous "whiplash".
Plus, wearing a lid and no neck support made it worse.
Sure, you'd have a sore neck sometimes among other bruises but it was all part and parcel of it.

Dispite this the.. ahem.. non European gentleman driving the van insisted in taking his details and presented Baby JS with an laughably fake repair invoice a couple of weeks later for several hundred pounds of repair work.
We told him to f

A few more weeks passed and a letter arrived from a solicitor specalising in no fault personal injury claims, maintaining his client has sustained severe whiplash in the collision and had been unable to work since the accident.
I posted the ambulance chaser a couple of pictures of the smeared plastic on the headlight and invited him to f

He did as well

In a moment of stupidity more worthy of his mother Baby JS rolled at less than walking speed into the back of a carpet fitters van a couple of years ago. Bodywork came together and a tiny smear of plastic was transferred from the vans bumper onto his headlight glass without even breaking it - that was the sum total of the damage.

I like your no nonsense approach Steve. That is honestly the most reassuring, and positive thing that I have heard today. I honestly feel actually happier that there may actually be some common sense left on the face of the planet.
Good for you and JS Jnr

I DON'T want this to descend into a discussion about the unpleasant activities of these gentlemen of foreign extraction, but if a few more people would tell them to f

Oli.

I don't think you should be able to, seeing as you've a propensity for making ludicrous sh!t up. What the hell do you mean by the above? Because we all know that there's no white people that are f

Think next time before posting, because you've come across as a right small-minded

Let's agree to differ on this one, eh? I don't want to get into an on-line argument with someone who throws insults quite as rapidly as you do.
Oli.
