Removing polish from Seams and seals ?

Hi,
Was wondering if anyone can help with suggesting the best way to remove ingrained polish from seals etc ( for example external sunroof seals ).

There are many polish removal potions out there

But get the missus to pick you up some ground nut oil next time she's in the supermarket

Not used it myself but it's supposed to be easy to use and cheap

Cotton buds and tooth picks are handy too

Autoglym Fast Glass does the job apparently!
