bmw 320d es, se and sport (msport?)

im a lil confused im not much of a bmw person to know all the ins and outs... but im looking to get a e46 Coupe or 4 door, but not sure what the difference is between the models. im guessing ES is the standard issue no thrills. but i cant tell much difference between the Se and sport (msport??) please could some 1 fill me in?
