Isn't that a blast from the past.

I will always remember travelling in a modified one trying to break the sound barrier with me sitting terrified in the passeneger seat.

Good fun cars but be safe they aren't exactly going to protect you in a crash.

Nice! not seen one of these for a long time. I drove one about 8 years ago and frightened myself silly in it, lets just say the acceleration outsmarted the handling quite substantially and I ended up a little out of shape on a tight corner. Great fun though!

A friend from school had one as his first car,

this brings back fond memeories of flying around the back roads 6 up taking off over hump back bridges and then looking around in the dark for the pieces that had fallen off....!

always remember being with my dad in the early 90's when he had a Delta Turbo and one came whizzing past and we struggled to keep up with it!
