I think you're confused with Chris Harris, the EVO writer, who has just bought a 997 GT3.

No idea. But there was a stunning yellow/gold metallic 458 with a gloss black roof parked outside The Andaz Hotel at Liverpool St. It too was 'sans' a front plate, couldn't see where you'd put one either.
Beautiful car in the metal, here it is parked on Sloane St.

Yeah, he originally bought her a silver 360, when she was 18!! And then bought her a white '89 Carrera some years later.

Don't ask me how or why I've bothered to remember this...
