Mercedes Servicing in Manchester?

Good evening to all, other than a Mercedes dealership can anybody here recommend somewhere in Manchester where we can have our Mercedes C Class fully serviced and inspected for any faults etc?

I used AMG Cheshire: www.amgcheshire.com for my CLK 55 (now sold sadly), found them to be helpful and knowledgeable, much better than the dealer (IMHO of course).

Without wishing to state the bleedin' obvious , do make sure that you get a quote from MB as well. I had my SL500 in for a B service a couple of months ago and MB in Leeds were pretty competetive - a bit more expensive than some and cheaper than most indies. (They also replaced my SBC pump £££££££££ for nothing (8 year old car) wich I don't think would have happened elsewhere).

ETA: I found the chaps at M-Star in Radcliffe to be very friendly and they had been recommended to me by a few people.

I use SPR Autos in Stockport. They do a good job and are honest in their pricing.You never feel overcharged.

I use MB-Tech in Warrington for my CLK and they are superb. You really get the feeling that they have throughly gone through the car checking everything when you get it back from a service.

One thing to note is that if you use the main dealer your mobile breakdown service gets renewed foc. This is worth around 150 gbp per annum. Also, you have a much better chance of a goodwill claim.
