When I drive my 944S2 (tin top) after a heavy downpour, I get the occasional drip of water falling onto my ankles, coming from somewhere behind the dash... Methinks this isn't what the boys from Stuttgart intended.

Is this a common problem? Any ideas on a solution?

Not a common problem, I'm afraid. How bad is the leak??

The sunroof seal might be bad- easy to replace.
Its very unlikely that the door seals are bad, and the windscreen seal might be bad as Thom suggests, this is perhaps unlikely.

the A-trim on the 944 is easy to remove. carefully remove this and check for dampness, then go from there.

I've not heard that one before, but lift the bonnet and check the left hand side at the back in front of the steering wheel. There is a bare area there that collects water from the sunroof drain and channels it down to the front wheel arch. If that area is full of leaves you will have a big puddle that 'could' be finding its way to your ankles

I had a leak behind the dash after having a new screen fitted. There is a cable grommet behind the heater inlet which had been moved and just needed reseating.
