Mrs G runs a Renault Modus Dci which cheap to run as it is can be a pain when jobs need doing, like dismantling most of the front end to change a headlight, cambelt etc.

One of the front springs snapped and true to form the strut top was almost under the dashboard, I popped into our local Kwik Fit on the way back from town just for a quote but was surprised it was only £50 to fit the spring, we then had a look and found the other one snapped too, bits fell out when jacking it up so I now needed them both doing,

The bill for supplying and fitting 2 springs and tracking came to £95. No idea how they do maths but I was happy at that.

Made a pleasant change to all the negative stories about them, perhaps it depends who is in charge?
