Tyres for 2005 X3
Discussion
Any advice on suitable tyres for the above car please? Currently has the Dunlop SP Sports on that need replacing. Looks like fronts are 235/50/18 and rears 255/45/18. Are these runflat tyres? Is there a cheaper alternative or is it best to replace with the same?

We're picking up our second X3 next Thursday and I test drove it in the snow last weekend. We had the Dunlops on our 1st car are they were fine, the new one had Bridgestone Touranza's on and it felt excellent in the snow - 5 or 6 inches and really couldn't tell it was snowy (driven with appropriate care for conditions). Can't comment on dry/wet grip though, but at least it's an alternative? HTH.
