No way i spun my volvo yesterday so would not dream of taking the Cerb out the garage.
Was going very slowly down a hill on approch to a junction, being very smooth on the brakes when the ABS kicks in and causes me to speed up towards the junction which is near a slip road to motorway, So i use the Hand brake to make it go in to a slide to avoid getting t- boned and manged to end up in a passing place facing 90 degrees to the way i was facing , very lucky the road was empty, thats single track roads up here for you that dont see grit lol.

mines stayed on the drive for the last 3 weeks, its very tricky around the side roads where i live even with my 4 x 4, plus with having a very steep drive my cerb would get down but wouldn't get back up again and i'm not leaving it on the road.
Battery was flat the other day on the cerb having not started it for about two weeks, quick charge with my Ctek charger and started fine and ran okay. was enough charge in the battery before charging to get in the car. have left my bonnet un done just incase i can't get in.

Goodyear Eagle F1s are possibly the worst tyre in the snow, I've used other summer tyres and had less hassle! But on any car I've owned with Eagle F1s they have always struggled. I had trouble getting the Cerb up the ever-so-slightest incline on my driveway with the F1s!
Took it out once in the snow but just decided it was just too risky with all the numpties on the road.

I've done just shy of 200 miles in mine over the past two days visiting family etc. and have been amazed at how well it copes with the snow! Haven't needed my bits of carpet or shovel from the boot once

Would have done, but where I keep it has too much snow. Last winter the farmer kindly towed us through the deep snow with his quad bike and a couple of his children (17!) in the boot to get some weight over the rear wheels Is anyone else silly enough to be out in theres in this weather?

I use mine on the snow and ice.. It's great fun!! But then my other transport is a motor bike so even the Cerb is safer than that in this weather lol.
I am more worried about other drivers than the ability of myself or my car. The car performs brilliantly. But having said that I probably would take a 'normal' car out if I had one in this weather.

Mine was having a starter motor refurb at Str8six and I picked it up yesterday. The country lane where the premises is is still compacted snow and ice. It's only about a quarter of a mile to the main road but It was a struggle to get it down there! Even at virtual stall speed the back tyres were spinning away. Not much fun!
I took my Wedge out the other day as well as I had to take it over to Oxford and that was 'interesting' on my road which is still solid ice!

A good 100 mile Xmas day afternoon blat today and again no probs on the few snow covered/icy bits about my way.
I did a very in depth job of undersealing my chassis and any bits prone to salt spray etc. so I'm not too bothered about chassis corrosion, she'll be fine
