gearbox cooling mod

Hi
anyone out there done cooling mod to gearbox as im doing engine rebuild
just thought i would do inlet and outlet holes before engine went back in
not sure on ideal position, any pics.

Steve, Thats what the gearbox man does when stengthening the box. You already have the shot peened box but have all the bearings/bushes been upgraded as the std are plastic

If they have you could still send it off to him to be done, there is some machining to do along with the inlet/outlet.

got myself a shot peened box from a focus rs
engine guy going to put my lsd and gear set into it,but il ask him about
the plastic bearings
i can get in and outlets done locally just need to know best place
proberly will not need but thought i could do when box is still out

got some piston and head pics to upload but ph say to many mb
how do you make smaller to allow? been tryin but im abit pc thick,doh

Focus RS box is a 5 speeder? im quite surprised... didn't they have a trick diff as standard?

thats right,but my lsd has only done 2000 miles so would like to put
it back in new box
