If you're a muso - music that humbles you

Shawn Lane. Hearing what he could do on a guitar should be humbling to any musician. His improvisational ability is just unmatched by any current living musician. Steve Vai is also excellent at improvisation but in a different way.
Anyone who really likes to have their socks blown off should listen to Spastic Ink. Ron Jarzombek and his brother Bobby are one of the most talented duos to have ever worked together, even more amazing that they are brothers and not just two guys who came together because they are freakishly good musicians. I'd reccommend the track "Words for nerds" and go from there.

Almost everything this chap ever wrote (and often didn't hear until it was performed live). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCeEegoH-ic
