AMG Trackday at Goodwood...intrested...?

Hi, a group of AMG owners, (also 1 no. porsche,Audi and BMW all ex MB owners) have put a group together, and are in the process of booking 2 no.days at Goodwood to run a Trackday. The dates are 29th April (bank Holiday) and 13th August (Saturday), and we are looking to make up the final numbers we require, which is 25, and am looking for 7 more places to be filled, ideally by Mercedes owners, (these numbers relate to 29th/4/11, more spaces currently for the 13/8/11), before we outsource to other brands.
The day is £310, of which £60 is required shortly as a non refundable deposit, this is a private event, non profit, all just out for enjoyable day. The day is not a race day, its a trackday, 25 cars total, 5 cars per session, so lots of track time and lots of space, on a reknown very fast circuit, and an experience to savour. Its a day where you are able push your car, within your comfortable limits, beyond that that you are able to do legally on the road, the circuit is a great experience. You will be based in the clubhouse, I am sponsoring (29/4/11) a bacon roll on arrival and sanwich buffet at half time, coffee,tea and water are available all day within the clubhouse. The GW chief instructor will be available for incar/tution all day, to which i highly recommend to make use of. Its a fanastic experince, and the most enjoyable of days

Hi having had absolutly no response to my initial post in this section, I thought I would reraise it again to see if any of you Mercedes owners would like to fill any of our last few spaces currently available for our two trackdays at Goodwood, one day is 29th April (Friday bank holiday) the other is 13th August (Saturday) We are attemting to keep it as much Mercedes as possible, (albeit there are a few non MBs related to our forum attending) before we start to outsource to other makes to make up our final numbers. So at this time would welcome anyone wishing to take their Mercedes on circuit and give it a run.
As previously stated the days cost is £310 per car/driver and per date. If anyone knows anything of the Goodwood cicuit, they will know this is a bargain. Just to wet your taste buds, heres a list of some of the cars we already have booked over the two dates.

what are the insurance implications ?

Hi, your not! unless you take specific, your car, trackday insurance. What I would tell you is 95% of those already attending will not be taking it. This is a private group of guys, non profit, out for a good bantered, goodhearted day out, we intend to arrive safely and leave and return home safely, its not a competion race day, there will be only 5 cars on track at any time, lots of space, you really would be pushing beyond limits to be having or causing any incidents on track, and if anyone creating such incidents, they would not be kindly thought of by our group, Full on potential Jenson Buttons etc and Ben Hurs are not welcome within this group, we are wanting goodwilled, goodhearted and enjoyable people on board to fulfill our days down there. This said there is a protective insurance within our costs, covering any damage that our group potentially creates to the Goodwood motor racing circuit.

I dont think i made it clear what i meant , sorry , i meant you and " ATDO " accreditation etc . Anyway you answered with the rest of your post and the 5 cars on track at a time bit . FYI I am none of those unwanted things mentioned above just an avid , experienced trackdayer wanting to know what i was potentially getting in to . i dont think ill join you this time just because of the time on track but

Afraid been full for a while now. What I would say if its still of strong intrest to you, we do not have any reserves. Someone did drop out of the group at very short notice, on our previous day in April. If that appeals to you, please E mail me with a contact method.

Hi, a small group of Mercedes enthuiasts has a trackday on Saturday 13th August at Goodwood Motor Circuit. This day has been full for a while now, but we unfortunatly now have one guy withdrawn, due to selling his car, and a POSSIBLE second place due to ill health of another. So we are looking for a least one, maybe two additional attendants to this day out, and would prefer a Mercedes if possible to attend, hence the resurected post here.

of the current attendants to this day,
14 no. assorted AMGs, C63s, DTM, Black series, SLK, E, CLS, CLK
1 no. modified AUDI RS6,
1 no. heavily modified Fiat Albarth (this is a great car)
1 no. Maserati
1 no. Masda MX
2 no. BMWs, vintage Ti2002 and Z4M
1 no. Evo 4
2 no. Porsches, GTRS3 and 996
1 no. Mclaren MP4 (subject to delivery on time, if not Ferrari 599)

The days format is 25 cars max, 5 cars per session, aprox 15mins, car to be within 105DB Goodwood noise/sound check, and cost is £310. We have left the withdrawn people to source their own replacements, but am posting this here, again in hope of recruiting an MB attendant, to whom your payment will be refunded to the withdrawn party, this is a privately organised, non profit day. Should anyone be intrested in this event please E mail me for further details.
