Can anybody advise me on the best in ear type earphones to use with I pod?
As I'm not sure you can try before you buy due to hygiene.

Do you have a budget? Default response is Sennheiser CX300-mkII.

The "best" are something like Shure SE535 but they cost £350.
Try SoundMAGIC PL30, £20 new off Ebay, ive got some and they're amazing. Google them to see their reviews.

Ive got these and the cx200,

I prefer the cx200 as they feel a bit more comfortable in my odd ears. No idea what the actual sound quality difference is.

The monster beats ibeats and tours make most other in ears sound pretty weak, give them a look.

I have a pair of the top of the range sure ones (I think that is them) and can confirm that they are indeed awsome. Almost like having a hifi in your head....
