Anyone else had this?

Having googled this morning after it reared its head for absolutely no fking reason, it appears to be have been a common problem 3 or 4 years back, but there are very few reports recently.

All the information I could find suggested that my HDMI sockets were probably fried as a result, and certainly, my PS3 wasn't working either.

Having switched it off for a couple of hours though, and turned it back on it's all fine again irked

Grrr mad

What TV is it? Some pioneers had a problem a while back, I also seem to remember that some Samsungs dont like certain sky boxes.

I had this as there was a problem with 4th and 5th gen Pioneers and sky HD boxes.

I called Pioneer customer services and they arranged for an engineer to come and replace my HDMI board as it had been fried.

Try calling Phillips, they may be helpful

Good luck!

I've started to experience this having connected the HD box to a Beosystem3 using both HMDI and SCART.

A hard power reboot of the Sky box fixes it, but not an ideal solution.
