Cafe Vergnano Southbank - any good?

Looking for somewhere to have a nice lunch on Thursday with some old friends and was wondering about this place. Firstly, is the food any good and secondly, what is the place itself like? Is it a nice enough place to have a relaxed sit down lunch for a couple of hours, or not really?
