On the way home on the A2 i am filtering through traffic. i see a space on the inside lane and just as im about to pull over from the middle to the inside lane i have this yellow Daytona come on the inside of me, pass me and then when he was in front he pointed down to the ground with his right hand and the started to serve to try and tell me something. From here he opened up and flew off.

What the hell was that all about? Any ideas?

had a thought, wonder if he wanted you to pull along side him for a quicker natter? ie pointing to the space on the ground he wanted you to occupy?

Maybe-

"Get down on the ground & pray homage to a real bike, 125cc scooter boy" ?

Or perhaps

"Pull across without looking again & i'll squash you like a fly, you scooter riding swine"

Or maybe seeing your new trendy kids bike he thought he would show you that even tho he is 47 & likes real ale & listens to the New Seekers, he can still cut a rug come dance time, so he just thought he would bust a quick groove to show you that he was indeed still a coll cat & down with the kids, respek, wik-kid

Might also have just had a wasp in his leathers or been having a mild epileptic fit

or he could be trying to shake his watch down his wrist so he can see how late he is for work

Not that I ever do that, of course, ahem...

but if I had to bet then I'd go for any of the scooter ones from the previous post

If you weren't going all that quickly, and he's been held up, he might be a bit pissed off if you moved actoss the fropnt of him, even if you were indicating.

How long had he been behind you for?

I guess it depends on the speed of the filtering and the traffic density as to whether he had the arse due to the speed of your filtering. Who knows! Still, it's always nice when people flap and wave at you.

Just this morning someone flashed me to let me know how good my overtake was. Their 45 in an NSL wasn't impressing me much.

lol, know what you mean, I overtook some chap in a open-top MG t'other day, he was so impressed that not only did he flash his lights, but when I looked in the mirrors I thought he was directing a plane into land judging by his flailing arm movements
